1. About these terms

Shopwatchr (shopwatchr.com) is a Retro32 service. These terms are between you and Retro32 ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them. Contact us at [email protected]. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

2. What Shopwatchr does

Shopwatchr checks product pages you choose on other shops' websites and tells you, by push notification or email, when the variants you pick come back into stock (or, if you choose, sell out).

We don't sell anything, take part in any purchase, or reserve stock. Shops are independent of us: their prices, stock, delivery and terms are entirely theirs.

3. No guarantees about stock or timing

We work hard to make alerts fast and accurate, but we can't promise them. Shops change their websites, block automated checks, or show stock that is already gone, and email and push services can be delayed. An alert may be late, wrong or missing, and an item may sell out before you can buy it. Please don't rely on Shopwatchr where a missed or delayed alert would cause you serious loss.

4. Your account

• You must be at least 13, and give an email address you control.
• Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
• Only add email addresses and push topics you're allowed to send alerts to.

5. Fair use

Please don't:

• use Shopwatchr for anything unlawful, or to watch pages you have no right to access;
• try to break, overload or get round its limits or security, or access other people's data;
• use it to send messages to people who haven't asked for them;
• resell it, or run it automatically through scripts, without our written permission.

To be a good neighbour to shops, we space out checks and slow down if a shop asks us to. That can delay checks beyond your chosen interval.

6. Plans and payment

The Free plan costs nothing. The Pro plan (£4 a month) isn't on sale yet. When it is, prices, billing and cancellation will be shown before you pay. You'll be able to cancel at any time, and your legal rights as a consumer - including any right to cancel and get a refund - aren't affected by these terms.

We may change plan limits or prices in future. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a change affects a plan you pay for.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we have to stop the service; where we reasonably can, we'll warn you first and give you time to download your data.

8. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Otherwise:

• we're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses - Shopwatchr is for personal use;
• we're not responsible for anything shops do, or for missing out on a purchase because an alert was late, wrong or missing;
• our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the problem (or £50 if that's more).

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email account holders at least 30 days before. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before the change takes effect.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
