What's new
Where Shopwatchr is today, and what we've been building. We ship little and often, so it's worth a look now and then.
Version 0.69
Live BetaWe're live. This is the first public beta, which is a polite way of saying it works, it's watching real shops around the clock, and we're still sanding off the corners. If something looks off, tell us and we'll sort it.
- Watch almost any shop. Shopify and WooCommerce stores are understood automatically. For anything else, structured product data is read where it's there, and there's a keyword mode for the stubborn ones.
- Amazon products. Paste an Amazon link and we'll track the buy box, so a sold-out item pings you the moment it's buyable again.
- Pick the exact variants. Watch just the size, colour or edition you actually want, not the whole page.
- Push and email alerts. Free phone notifications through ntfy, email, or both. Bring your own push topics, with a QR code to set them up in seconds.
- Two-factor authentication (2FA). Brand new: add a 6-digit code from your authenticator app on top of your password, with backup codes for when your phone isn't to hand. Turn it on from your Account page.
- Live status page. See at a glance whether the website, stock checks, email and push are all healthy, on our status page.
- Dedicated trackers. Deeper pages for the things people hunt most: consoles, graphics cards, sneakers, pre-orders and Pokémon cards.
- Add it to your home screen. Shopwatchr installs like an app on iPhone and Android, no app store required.
- Private by design. Your email, watch names, push topics and activity are encrypted with a key that's unique to your account. We don't sell your data or use it to train AI.
On the workbench
No promises on timing, but here's roughly what's next:
- A paid Pro plan for more watches and faster checks (free stays free).
- More shops understood automatically, so keyword mode is needed less often.
- More of the little touches that make a beta feel finished.
